Annual Club Christmas Party 2007


The 2007 Christmas Party went great. Old friends, good friends, new friends were all there.  The Old Time Fiddlers were at the party again, and spectacular as always.  Thanks to all of you who helped to make the party a success.

Well, it is never too early to plan for the 2008 Christmas party. Like always, the only excuse for not being ready for the 2008 Christmas party, is that we did not have enough time to plan.  Well club members we have 364 days to plan for the 2008 Christmas party.  Here is the 2008 rundown:

Remember No General Meeting in December 2008.

Holiday Party is scheduled for Tuesday, December 16th. Same location as in the past, The Sequim Worship Center, just north of the Library, on Sequim Avenue (north entrance). Setup begins at 3 pm, with the serving line starting about 6:30.

Items to Bring:

The club is supplying the turkey for the main dishes. Club will provide Coffee and punch. We would like the club members to potluck the rest.

      1. Bring your potluck dish.

           A-M:  salads – desserts --- including things such as Pies (apple, pumpkin, berry, and the like), salads (fruit cocktail salad,
           lettuce salad, and the like) cookies, hors d'ourves plates, cracker, potato chips and dip, olives, etc.
           N-Z:   main / side dishes - We need stuffing, potatoes (mashed or otherwise), vegetables, rolls, butter, use your imagination.

      2.  Your own Table Service (forks, knives, plates, cups, etc).

      3.  Small gift for gift exchange drawing (something you made, not to expensive, like Christmas decorations, figurines, socks, hats,
           anything small that you think club members would appreciate.

      4.  Bring non-perishable food, and/or other items for food bank (such as shampoo, toothpaste, soaps, laundry detergent,
           diapers, pet food, and things like than.

Membership Renewals

2009 membership renewals will be due by December 31, 2008. As every year, we'll have the forms available at the party, or you can mail your check to CCGMS, at PO box 98, Sequim, 98382. New members: If you joined our club after September first, this year, your membership is good thru 2009.
